what else can i say besides; it's macbeth. i enjoyed the performances of denzel washington and frances mcdormand, but kathryn hunter stole the show as the weird sisters. the sequences with them would toe the line of dreamscape and reality and were hands down my favorite parts of the movie. so many visually appealing shots overall. but by god's light is it difficult to comprehend shakespeare's archaic words in iambic pentameter in real time. release the on-screen annotation cut.
