The Seed of the Sacred Fig 2024
beautiful and amazing movie, showing the resistance of iranian women against blatant misogyny and tyranny, until the last 30 minutes which goes a bit off the rails. in the ending it feels like it's telling two separate stories. the ending feels a bit rushed and lacks any kind of closure to the real life events of the story. it's still a moving and beautiful piece of art but it kind of feels unfinished.
