  This is one of those movies that makes you go
  “HOLY SHIT IS THAT DANE DEHAAN?!”
  “WALTON GOGGINS IS IN THIS?!”
  “FUCK ME IS THAT COLMAN DOLMINGO?!?!?!”

  Despite all that, I really couldn’t get into this as much as I thought I would. If it weren’t for Tommy Lee Jones hamming it up, I would’ve fallen asleep much earlier than I did. It’s just boring. Shame.

  I tried but I really didn’t enjoy this movie. 

  Everyone’s talked to death about THAT decision, which is kinda disgusting. The characters themselves were boring and uninspired. I like Andy, but the rest are just cookie cutters of every protagonist we’ve ever seen.

   I wish we didn’t keep having to do Alien (1979) again and again. References are so in your face that the characters might as well have looked into the camera and gone “YOU REMEMBER THAT, RIGHT?”

  If you’re expecting at least some Xenomorph action, don’t bother. They’re barely involved. 

  I miss Ridley Scott. Disappointed.

  Monster Hunter 2020

  Obviously, this movies a bit of a mess. It’s got a couple of cool action sequences, some neat ideas and moderately good visuals. But a dreadful script, shoddy camerawork, nauseating editing and a poor first act.

  Nothing really that special here, but I guarantee your dad would probably like it
