I recently re-read Bill Bryson’s excellent 2013 book One Summer: America 1927. I was inspired to watch some silent films, many of which can be found on YouTube. The highlight was Buster Keaton’s 1920 short film One Week, written and directed by Keaton and Eddie Cline.
