heartbreaking and true, this story hit a personal spot in my heart with the passing of brothers and family curses. although painful, the ending gives me hope knowing that kevin is still alive and has his own happy family, pushing through the struggles of his life.

one of the most beautiful films i’ve arched visually. i love how it’s a pretty simple allegory of divorce and how that effects a family through toxic relationships and parenting. it showcases generational trauma and the steps to prevent that with the new generation.
