Ella Enchanted 2004
This is an insult to the book it was VERY loosely based on but it was still decently enjoyable. It’s a funny dumb early 2000s movie and not the stunning masterpiece of a book I’ve read several times. Even so, it was pretty funny.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever 2024
After watching the play version and reading the book several times I was pleasantly surprised to find this movie reminiscent of the novel while still making the story interesting and worth watching. It was a beautiful reminder of what Christmas truly is about: the birth of Jesus. For a lot of Christians the Bible can become stale after hearing it again and again, but this movie helps to make the Christmas story feel real again.

The Muppets 2011
Some of the best music I have ever heard came from this movie. It is a masterpiece. Watching a character have an epiphany over their identity and if they were human or a muppet was incredibly impactful.
