Incantation 2022
I understand why this film would turn people away, and I have issues with the pacing - but the concept and mystery all boiling down to the final act had me in awe. If a horror film can cause me to tear up three times and still scare the shit out of me then you’ve made a fantastic film that I now personally place in my top ten favorite horror films.

This movie is far from perfect, but it’s NOTHING to overlook as a piece of art. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable and disturbed, yet completely intrigued while watching a horror film; which in essence what I want from horror.
It’s by far the best example of how a manipulator operates that I’ve seen, and that’s coming from personal life experience. Absolute gem.P.S. The villain being the true protagonist of this story which is always fun.
