  Leave the World Behind 2023

  Underwhelmed. The gist was scientific and structured around a “What If” notion for technology dependency in the world— which wasn’t prefaced. Had some weird symbols but at least the house was pretty. Lots of constant weird, mysterious music yet the plot didn’t really align with it. I would skip out on giving this a try!!

  This movie like hypnotized me in a very indescribable way. The title and cast was very alluring (Lucy & Morgan Freeman), the plot had waves of entertainment and kinda fucked with my head. Overall pretty satisfied, left feeling grateful ⏱️🧠

  I’m gonna go a little harsh on this one. I’m slightly biased because it took me 1/3 of the movie to realize I had already seen it… so clearly some good transition/ reveal scenes. But, kinda blip blop bloo with the whole “4 Christmases” and I personally wanted to see them in Fiji (spoiler*).
