Although it's not a masterpiece, Mickey 17 is still a pretty good time. It manages to be surprisingly funny while maintaining a pretty grim premise, and although some parts of the movie are a bit too heavy handed for my taste, and there are some choices made in wrapping the movie up that I thought were odd, I still would recommend giving it a watch.

Collateral 2004
On rewatch it easily broke into my favorites list. It's been a while since I've seen a movie that held my attention through every shot, and Collateral certainly did that. Jamie Foxx and Tom Cruise are so good with each other, and their character dynamics are really interesting to watch play out. I think I was in just the right headspace to watch it, and it really hit me where it was aiming to.
