The Brutalist 2024
Visually & audibly breathtaking with poetic dialogue; a real treat on the senses.
The foreshadowing of the drug overdose was a little clumsy, and the momentum of the plot eroded, with a few loose ends never tied. I think the storyline was the weakest element, and with a more interesting plot, this could have easily been a 5/5.
On balance, I enjoyed this film a lot, I was immersed. A beautiful piece of cinema and deserving of its merit.
