  It’s difficult to critique because if I had made a movie when I was 17 it wouldn't have been half the quality of Burning Cane. On one hand it’s absolutely incredible a 17-year-old shot, cut, produced, wrote, and directed a feature film that was accepted into Tribeca and won three big awards. On the other hand, I just don’t think it’s very good.
