Goodrich 2024
Sweet movie, but also kinda cliche city I thought. Maybe it would have helped to get more “before” Goodrich at the beginning, but it just felt pretty hollow to me a lot of the time. Also this movie is very LA in a way that was giving me a little bit of PTSD. Still quite watchable though.

Hopefully this isn’t a cringe take, but I was really into this ngl. Alex Garland went to the Michael Mann school of making each gunshot rattle your bones and I’m just a sucker for that haha. Was dope to see it in a super loud theater. And the visuals were straight up epic too. It felt just real enough to be super unsettling, which was super cool I thought. And it just went hard AF... Pretty incredible stuff... It's also crazy that we know as much as we do about this. I wish the whole "Belfast Project" oral history thing wasn't a complete shitshow because the historic value of it seems pretty amazing.
