  A character study about a man that makes no sense.  Majors is so talented, so jacked, and so believable it nearly works. I think this is a fundamentally flawed movie that rocked me to the core. Some story beats linger to boredom and others are skipped entirely.

  Saw this with subtitles in the theater. Weird experience all around.

  Micheal Stuhlbarg’s monologue is incredible. Like top tier Pulp Fiction “He give me da watch…” and The 400 Blows “Antione’s Questioning” scene type shit. I would rewatch this just to watch his character and bask in it again while watching Timmy cry. That last 20 minutes makes the film.

  I don’t really buy Timmy’s dialogue throughout, I think if he was 22-24 and really up his ass about literature it would have fit better (or maybe people just aged in…

  Idk if it’s me or Lanthimos that’s changed but I see people comparing this to Dogtooth I have never felt more different than the consensus. Shit tier nonsense. I felt so seen watching Dogtooth and I felt like its message was so sincere. wtf is this movie trying to say.
