Court - State Vs. A Nobody 2025
Court is an simple story but it's strength lies in the character design and dialogues, these two aspects alone took the film to next level. Teen Love portions might felt stretched at times but the rest goes well.
All the cast performed well but it's Sivaji that dominated everyone with is sheer screen presence and dialogues.

Film entered into the plot within in short span and investigative proceedings are simple but engaging enough to hook you up but when film nearing the end it felt bit stretched at times and though we got all the points connected yet for me the climax felt rushed as the backstory isn't that strong.

Maharaja clearly best example of how a simple story can be shown in thrilling and engaging way with tricks of screenplay. First 30 minutes were used to establish the characters and it's bond in slow burn way and post that it's complete run of thrills and emotions. Both VJS and Anurag Kashyap nailed the performances. Kudos to the Nithilan Swaminathan for brilliant screenplay and BGM is another highlight of the film.

Dragon 2025
Film has blended both fun and emotion aspects very well and the biggest asset of film is it's well written screenplay and well designed characters. Ashwath Marimuthu does delivered a film with fun yet ends with an clear social message without any preaching.
It' has lot of fresh sequences and Pradeep Ranganathan just nailed it in those and with this film's performance it's clear he is hear to stay and rest of the cast also did well. Music deserves special appreciation.
