some of the best onscreen chemistry for a wlw film ever... vs incredibly clunky dialogue, silly contrived plot points and some horrible acting. wow, though.

I love when women look at each other for 0.2 seconds and realise they are infinitely better than any man 😌
Movie was mostly nonsense but icl tho something about it really spoke to the way being gay can force you into a fantasy. To not know how to even begin to conceptualise a queer relationship, that investing in it can feel like a pipe dream or a joint delusion. How a queer relationship sometimes means nothing because joy and safety mean being removed from "real life". Idk. It's important to see that despite everything, there's hope. There's something to work towards.
