i really needed this. it’s amazing how alone and tired and torn you can feel in life, until you watch a certain movie, or hear a certain song, or read a certain book, and you suddenly realize that everyone else has felt that same way. that feeling is so overwhelming and beautiful.

“everything that torments me, everything I don’t have and that I long for, that makes me indignant, or sick, or suffocates me, everything that gives me a feeling of light and warmth, and by which I live, and everything that destroys me - it’s all there in your film, I see it as if in a mirror. margaret qualley & geraldine viswanathan are SUPERSTARS. i seem to be in the minority, but i truthfully had an amazing time with this movie. it’s so fun and sincere in the most absurd way, i’m really glad this exists. i had a pretty shitty day and this completely changed my day around in the best possible way. great job, ethan coen! the dude is so damn brilliant when it comes to moving a camera and telling a story. 8/10
