Ponman 2025
What Basil Joseph did in Pravinkood Shaap and Ponman has to be studied. I love this film for how heavily it references Kumbalangi Nights, from setting to characters to frames. They took Shammi hero aada hero and placed him on the other side of the story with a superb and original plot. One of those one of a kind Malayalam films that stands for women without shoving feminism down your throat.

When I re-watched it in theatres today, i even noticed that during the last pine forest fight scene, they literally just used smoke for mist and u can clearly see something burning and the smoke coming from it 😭😭.
