A mix between Captain Hook and John Wick. Bill Skarsgård‘s performance is more Joker than Eric Draven. However, I don’t think this film was absolutely horrible like most of the internet and people were saying. Is it exactly like the original? No. But that’s what made it more engaging!

The CINEMATOGRAPHY of this movie is insane! Every shot is absolutely beautiful and perfect. The symbolism is mind boggling and so so so amazing.
The storyline itself was very predictable. As soon as I saw the way Oliver interacted with Felix’s family, I told my friends “Oh god he’s a family annihilator.”
The soundtrack of the movie is super fun and matches the surface-level vibe of the movie. Watching Barry dance naked around the house to Murder On The Dancefloor was an experience.
