The best end of the world film. Two sides of the same fate seemingly brought upon by Dunst' character. The dread and anxiety throughout the second half is fantastic, the camerawork adding to the unease. Gainsbourg's performance is in my opinion underrated, she perfectly depicts the abyssal panic and plays off Dunst so well.
Still very much a Von Trier film but definitely his most human.Translated from by -
