A slightly left-field story to my preconceived idea of a typical Scorsese project - but nevertheless, one that was so delicate and touching.
The story of the Osage people being such specific subject matter, felt like a personal pursuit that Scorsese was clearly passionate about. In essence, he aimed to educate people not only on the killings of the Osage tribes, but racial prejudice and segregation seen globally towards indigenous groups to this day.
