  Minions: The Rise of Gru, directed by Kyle Brada, is a film that uses comedic techniques and fast paced action to deliver an enjoyable watch. The cinematography is wonderful and very clearly inspired by Stanley Kubrick and Wes Anderson. The themes and messages landed perfectly, with the whole movie obviously being a metaphor for the invention of the atomic bomb and the ethical and moral dilemas that arise because of it.
