  Bonus points for the Pom Pom Squad soundtrack and cute queer romance (put all your stock in Molly Brown while you still can), but the logic behind the premise is just too sweaty and convoluted that it keeps you at a distance from the fun it wants to have.

  If any opinion of mine disqualifies me from being a reputable voice in film criticism, let it be known that I low-key fuck with 2024's Kraven The Hunter. An unfussy ground beef for brains garbage caper with more personality than most big releases. Since when did we ask so much of beefy Russel Crowe doing a silly little accent? It's not that serious.
