    In the Mouth of Madness is the amalgamation of ambitious horror elements—underworld Lovecraftian fiends, Armageddon, epidemic schizophrenic paranoia, violence!

    Jude Law with his charismatic eyes, face and body remains a sensible subject of identity assumption once by Ethan Hawke in Gattaca (1997), and here, by Matt Damon.

    Ripley escaping crime and punishment Dostoevskyan style sans his in-depth mental crises as depicted in the novel could not have went so smoothly. Not only did they make him unscrupulous, they also made him gay. +1★ for the added homoeroticism.
