The pacing, acting, cinematography, cgi, and any other aspect of filmmaking you can think of was magnificent. This movie shows more of the impact this classic monster has on humanity through the story of one man. You connect and sympathize with the characters and root for their survival rather than to see how much Godzilla can destroy.
