Mamma Mia! 2008
Had the delight of watching this movie with someone who had never seen it before and didn’t even know the premise. Is this how parents feel when they experience the world with a newfound sense of wonder while raising their children? I have seen this movie a thousand times and somehow forgot how it felt to experience the twists and turns of Sophie’s path to discovering herself, Donna’s journey in opening her heart, and the power of music and mother/daughter bonds for the first time. We, as humans, cannot become blind to the wonders of the world. Happy Monday, everybody.
