This missed the mark big time. The whole plot was way too convoluted and smug, and yet it never got really meaty. Alice in Wonderland 1951
Alice was quite deadass just on shrooms and we were watching her trip. I understand the charm in the animation here, but the adventure is just too all over the place to appreciate. Didn’t really care for it, but it’s very remarkable for its time though.

It was an okay addition to the franchise. It didn’t add much, and can mostly be reduced to callbacks from the original. I used to be okay with Andy, but his sad little tilted eyebrow expressions just got annoying and I lowkey began rooting against him.
