  John Wick 2014

  I’m finally catching up on the long overdue John Wick series. I’m a fan of action movies and I was fairly satisfied with this. 

  I am a firm believer that Keanu Reeves is a solid “silent action movie” actor (the less dialogue, the more action, the better) and this movie did that full justice.

  Will definitely be watching the rest of the series.

  As a South-Asian Canadian who grew up in the Greater Toronto Area, I really resonated with this film. Throughout the whole 1h 40m, I saw 13 year old me through Mei - the movie hit all the right spots. 

  I’m glad I could experience watching this film with my Mom, and would say this is one of my Pixar favs! 

  Some additional notes: The scene with the food was mesmerizing, and the quote “I like gyrating” is top tier.
