A visually impressive artistic waste of my time. This film could be an hour shorter if you skip all the milling about from point a to b, back and forth from one stupid conversation to the next. Maybe it was meant to be grating and slow, with the only entertaining parts being at the last ten minutes of the film. Came for Paul Rudd, stayed for Paul Rudd. Everyone in this movie pissed me off to the moon and back. This is almost as bad as the one where David Tennant creeps around the pregnant lesbians. Saw a clip of Paul Rudd being funny and I had to watch it but I wanted to rip my eyes out mostly. I never want to think about this film again, let alone see it a second excruciating time. Watching two rats fighting over a piece of cheese would be more enjoyable.

The Bad Guys 2022

Alright who let this movie be that good… I was told to watch this movie by an eccentric friend and I am not disappointed. The wolf is very like able, down to the tiny bit of pathetic energy he has. The story is pretty well paced, although the ending is a little drawn out. The first scene is such a good opener, it sets your expectations high with an interesting and wild chase sequence, something that’s pretty refreshing to see. I have a lot of questions, but this movie is a lot of fun if you don’t think about it too hard.

I wasn’t expecting this to be such a good movie?? I saw it with a couple friends as a little impromptu outing and we genuinely had a blast! I love how many Easter eggs were put in the background, and the music is phenomenal. I don’t think I’ll be rewatching soon, but I’m definitely open to seeing it a month or so from now. My only complaint would be more Charlie Day, but that’s not really a major critique. The animation style is gorgeous and the voice acting is even better. I really enjoyed it, I definitely recommend watching it with friends!
