Now this is a football movie. We’ve got real looking football being played, young Keanu doing his thing and Jon Favreau acting like a total psychopath. Oh and of course Gene Hackman as the grustled old coach.

Came into this looking forward to a football movie about a hall of fame quarterback. It’s… not really that.
This movie is the story of Kurt Warner with a smidge of football sprinkled in. A lot of time was spent on his relationship with his now wife and their kids and it was all very well done. Well acted and has a great message about never giving up.
It’s a good movie. It’s also not what I was expecting. But it’s still good.

Fun ass movie. Really gives the classic 2000s comedy movie vibes. Such an awesome concept that somehow kept surprising me. Whenever I thought I knew where things were going, the movie would throw a wrench in that changed things up.
