Sometimes you just pick the right film for the right moment. This twisty, single location gangster thriller, hit the spot for a Saturday afternoon movie thanks to an enjoyable ice cold, intelligent 'English' performance by Mark Rylance, contrasting beautifully with the hoodlums he gets caught up with.

Bloody, brooding Scandi WW2 revenger with a touch of what did he just do? How? Close to the edge of believability but really just very entertaining.

Not what I expected - not a trashy whodunit but a sad real life story of addiction, abandonment and loss of control of a young Philadelphia paralegal well played by Caitlin Stacey.
