  It is like conducting a research study. You begin with an ambitious thesis statement, gather the literature, study it thoroughly, connect the dots, conduct thematic analyses, identify codes, organise them into themes, weave a coherent narrative, and ultimately conclude that your society has an obsession with stains and stain removers.

  A good one.

  The first time I watched 'Naan Kadavul', I was fresh out of reading ஏழாம் உலகம் (which I think is one of the greatest literary works in Tamil). So, you could imagine how much of an impact it had on me. Naturally, for the layman I am, I was only able to compare both works, and Bala's work felt a little underwhelming to me. Oh, was I a fool.

  Not too bad. A no-brainer story plot and structure with good making. Sivakarthikeyan plays a wannabe GVM hero, paired with Pallavi, whose acting left me with second-hand embarrassment—it was painful to watch. GV Prakash’s music feels like a recycled mix from every film in this genre.

  But I’ll tell you what: Sivakarthikeyan has never looked this handsome. Couldn’t take my eyes off him. Absolute beauty!

  And how powerful is, "உச்சிமீது வானிடிந்து வீழு கின்ற போதினும்,
  அச்சமில்லை அச்சமில்லை அச்சமென்ப தில்லையே". Feels like you could take on the entire world.
