Was the ending a little convoluted with the villain over-explaining himself? Yes. Should the ghost have started throwing things around the room to try and rescue Chloe instead of just standing there for way too long during the villain speech? Probably. Did I start sobbing when Lucy Liu saw her son in the mirror? Absolutely.
It reminded me a little bit of "A Ghost Story" from 2017. The continuous camera shot in the beginning had me wondering if it would continue à la "Rope" and just cover an hour and a half of real time story, but I liked where it ended up going.
