I initially was interested in this film from the trailer, but in all honesty I thought it would just be an adequate time waster and a very by the numbers thriller. I’m glad I made a point to check it out because I was very impressed with the acting, camera work and a surprisingly good thriller that I hope more people discover! Check it out!

Strange Darling 2023
I was pretty excited to see this from the trailer alone. It did not disappoint! I didn’t know it was going to be a backwards narrative with different chapters going in but that actually just ratcheted the suspense! Plus it was shot beautifully on 35mm! Great twists and turns and nice cameos from Ed Begley Jr. & Barbara Hershey! Check it out!!

Inspired by the classic E.C horror comics this anthology to me, has always been one of my favorites! This is one that I still to this day often revisit and it never disappoints! Great stories and it perfectly captures the feeling of the old E.C comics if they came to life. The black humor and horror is expertly mixed! It really will be the lost fun you have being scared!
