Sat on this review for a bit to think about the overall arch of this film cause I feel it stuck with me a lot more than I noticed on first watch. A true tale of Cain that resonated with me, my wife and our lives a lot more than expected in terms of needing to feel like everything is okay and not showing your true emotions when you're given space to do so. Brilliance on all parts

Black Panther 2018
For a film that seemed so “highly regarded” it was such a let down...
Any fight scene would be CGI but any practical fighting would be dumb shakey cam, pretty poor acting by most of the cast (solid performance from Daniel Kaluuya and Andy Serkis). With a very simple Marvel plot it left no room to expand your view of the film, a lot of basic premis can be executed well but the motives for the films “villain” were a bit obsured and pointless.
In the end it is very bland and just rushed, gonna give it a what are those / 10
