  I watched this because it's listed as Gene Hackman's first screen appearance but it's blink and you'll miss it.
  What was a bigger treat was an early career performance by Jerry Orbach whose star quality shone brightly.
  Also Telly Savalas was great

  In this age of reviving old property, more Rocko is always welcome.
  I thought this was really well done and was in keeping with the spirit of the original series.

  There's a good story in there that hopefully will be revisited one day. It's a good interpretation of Melbourne historically. I enjoyed seeing familiar places being used.
  The film itself is a bit by the numbers and dated.

  Interesting to see how far insight into the human condition has come in the last 50 years.
  The clear lack of understanding of drug use and the culture around it is the most amusing part of this very thinly premised made for TV movie.
