  Favorite horror movie I’ve watched so far this year. These kids are ACTING. great horror movie formula with a fresh approach. I thought the sounds effects and make up were really elevated. Loved the symbolism of nails throughout the film- I haven’t seen nails so highlighted since showgirls.
  More movies should be this length of time.

  I guess it’s fine. Felt like the whole cast of naked brothers band got together to build a bomb. I did not feel very emotionally invested and felt a lot of characters were wasted (all the women). 
  Was excited to see Josh Hartnett have a hot professor moment.

  Thought it was fine. There were some sweet moments and the recordings of kids discussing their thoughts on the future were honestly touching.
  But overall I thought it felt a bit slow and would have enjoyed more scenes with the orphan and less flirty phone calls with the sister discussing the trials of parenthood. It’s true but tired. 
  I also am also not sure this movie benefited from being in black and white. I would have enjoyed seeing the different locations in color but that might be a personal preference.
