I had high expectations for this giallo classic, but it didn’t really do it for me. Visually it was ok but the story was pretty weak, the tension never really grabbed me.
Besides the fact that Marcus was a witness, his motives weren’t really clear to me. He was risking it all..for what exactly? The film followed him, but I couldn’t really follow him, so it wasn’t that engaging. And there wasn’t much to compensate for this lack. No, I’d rather go with Opera, my favorite Argento film.
