  Watched with my parents when I was home for Christmas. Thought they'd appreciate the themes.

  Consensus:
  - dad was snoring within 10 min of start and through the majority of it. Woke up for the ending.
  - mom stayed awake most of the way but fell asleep for last 10 minutes, missing the finale.
  - I stayed awake for the whole thing.

  Sailor Moon R: The Movie - The Promise of the Rose 1993

  I fell asleep for probably 5-10 min of this and it's only an hour long.

  Some quick thoughts:
  - I was impressed with the gay romance/jealousy setup for 90s animation I think made for kids? Not familiar with the series so no idea if this is the norm or not. Was excited when I realized they were really setting it up that blatantly.
  - battle scenes took up a good deal of runtime and were quite boring. Lots of time…
