Joaquin Phoenix is the only thing carrying this movie along. While I loved the first one, it feels like nothing really happens in this one other than some meaningless courtroom dialogue. When anything was building up, the musical numbers pulled me right out of it.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles 1987
This movie gave me flashbacks to that one time I missed a connecting flight and they were able to put me on the next flight which was in 24 hours so I had to sleep in LAX baggage claim.
