This was a really cool way to reimagine Cruella as an anti-villain and give her a backstory to empathise with; while also building connections with most viewers nostalgic memories of a 101 Dalmatians. Plus punk!
Also the directorial choice to build Estella’s relationship with the Baroness through the fashion apprentice angle really reminds me of The Devil Wears Prada, in a positive way.
