Fantastic and I can't believe I didn't watch it sooner. Thelma and Louise are such a powerful duo and the gradual sense of freedom they both feel from their old lives is so cathartic to see.

Brilliant, moved me to tears, and super exciting the whole way through - Godzilla was terrifying and effective as a 'surface level' enemy whilst still foregrounding the human struggles the most and I loved how the characters almost used the fight with Godzilla to negotiate their relationship with the war. 3 and 1/2 stars might be way to harsh, but the 'twist' ending (oooo he's not really dead!!) kinda annoyed me and felt like it cheapened the ending a bit.
