The Face of Another 1966
Compelling and eerie! A perfect adaptation of Kōbō Abe’s surrealism. I was surprised by some of the unconventional cinematic shots in the film done by Tashigara! The writing and some themes felt timeless and strangely reminded me much of our current, modern times.
