  Re-watched it after three years since the first time I've seen it, and this time subbed in a language that I did understand (which resulted in a much better experience). Visually stunning, the slow shots and soundtrack were truly terrific

  Great animation and wonderful character designs. The cast is all very charming and I got easily invested on these characters.

  Although the movie has many great aspects, it should be pointed out that the white saviour trope is very much there. Overall it is an enjoyable, if flawed, film.

  could not find english subs for it, so i watched it with japanese dub and french sub, there is just a tiny detail: i do not speak either of those languages. initially i didnt like it a lot, felt like it was just torture porn but after reading more about it, i understood the message about loss, and i learned to like it more. the practical effects were amazing, as well as the gore, overall it was a very beautiful movie, just wish i had understood it better on my first watch.

  i actually liked this one a lot. many halloween fans hated that movie, but personally i enjoyed both the movie itself and the experience i had watching it. some parts felt a little rushed and forced, though.
