Unbelievably tense and much funnier than expected, Dog Day Afternoon is very good. Pacino gives comfortably one of the best performances of all time, and it's incredibly nuanced in it's themes and social commentary.

Magic Mike XXL 2015
While I was distinctly let down by Magic Mike, I somehow still came into XXL with high expectations; which (thankfully) were largely met. Much less drama, far more interestingly thematically, and WAY hotter and more fun, this is everything one could possibly hope for from a movie about male strippers with Steven Soderbergh's name attached.

Black Bag 2025
It’s rather difficult for me to give a 5 on first watch but Black Bag is damn close. I think Fassbender and Blanchett are two of the best currently working, and this only furthers my sentiment. Soderbergh asks if transparency in the digital world is truly integral to a relationship and answers resoundingly that trust, love, respect, admiration or whatever the hell makes a relationship in the first place will stand every test if true. Phenomenal script, phenomenal score and while the halation may bother some, I kinda loved it. Marisa Abela is a star.
