Some moments in the film do exert the need to empathize with the protagonist, Adu, as a liminal character stuck within the limbo of the civil war. Cinematography shines through the cracked plot, yet does not suffice by itself to form a whole. As the film progressed, I felt dissociated more and more from the constructed reality since things started not to add up. Additionally, the break short-circuited the system and acted as a desensitizing by-product of the fallacies committed.

A Quiet Place Part II 2020
Despite its crafty and proven use of sustaniable suspense, the film smells like a raw fish left on the kitchen counter for days at times. The mere cause of this could be the editing since there are things left unexplained, and also the cheesy horror scene at the garage made me lost track of the constructed reality. These exemplary dismissals and more lead to disaccord in my viewing of the film.
