  it’s a no from me. tom cruise’s smile is particularly creepy and off-putting in this film. personally i’ll take interview-with-a-vampire tom over this. at least the weirdness made sense to the character—no one can say that tom wasn’t committed to playing lestat. hot take but i love tom cruise’s lestat. i do not love whatever he was doing in this movie. again, it all comes back to the three-dimples-deep smile with no light behind the eyes.
