desperately love a Aristotelian Unities stress-fest which is probably biasing me into giving it a much better score than it deserves. even with that, dreadful. just perplexingly terrible. 

presumably the people who made this show don’t think that the SNL bits are funny? but i’m genuinely unsure.

at least 40mins too long, probably more. the pretentious bits are garbage. if i wasn’t a coward, i would give it a lower rating.

y’know what, i thought about it, and just at an abstract level it’s kind of impressive to write a love story where both protagonists are so severe that, despite literally being in the process of falling in love, they don’t seem to actively enjoy each others’ company particularly nor feel any excitement or passion about each other.

but do i want to watch a film about those kinds of losers? absolutely not. get fucked.
