  Watched this political/crime thriller by chance; because of Al Pacino. I loved the dramas surrounding American political influence and manipulation that is so prevalent. As usual, Al Pacino was in his best!

  This film is also called the Confessor. The story is about a Catholic priest's investigation into the death of a troubled youth in a church. In the process the priest (played by Christian Slater) cleared the name of a pastor, found the real killer and discovered his own true calling. Most of the actors were mediocre except Gordon Pinsent (as Cardinal Ledesma), Stephen Rea (as a lawyer acting for the church) and Christian Slater.

  An over-committed cop went over the limit to put criminals away. I love the plot and cast performance of this movie. Al Pacino and Robin Williams did not fail to showcase their acting prowess.

  Watched The Equalizer 2 because Denzel Washington is one of my favorite actors. The film is a collection of basic good-versus-evil, justice-for-the-oppressed victims stories with plenty of violence. Still like Denzel Washington but less the movie.
