Sensationalist as hell, but also batshit crazy, and very addictive. Fun to watch.

Can't quite say what I think of this one. It's Erin Brockovic without the feminist angle, and dare I say it after that last phrase, sex appeal. Maybe they stuck a little too much to the truth (I don't know, just speculating) to make a really satisfying story. It's certainly very good, but in the end the payoff is so piddling compared to what Du Pont did, that it leaves me angry. But I guess that's the point. There's no justice. I think in the end, I respect it.

I remember really liking this one when I first saw it, but not as much this time. Another issue movie with a huge information dump, that doesn't work as well as Contagion (which I watched last night). But the emotional story of Quayle thinking his murdered wife was cheating on him, then finding out she wasn't, she just couldn't tell him, works well, it's just that it was resolved really early, and the rest of the movie is just a whatdoneit, that is way less engaging.
