Really shocked me how far Tomino's vast imagination reached throughout this series. I loved that he was even self aware of how complicated at times the narrative amounted to with all it's unique intricacies, with characters (by that same note the viewer) being thrown off guard constantly with how abrasively fantastical the events of the plot would lead to. Even Hime's recaps devolving into her being confused on what happened in the previous episode later on in the show (I…

Very much privileged to go and see this in a theatre. I don't really need to go on about how absolutely perfect this film is but it's genuinly amazing to check this off my list of my favs to see in the cinema. But fuck me the fucking insane line to enter the cinema was nuts it was the stupidest thing to experience. It was like waiting in line for a music artists show it was hilariously ridiculous.

Im not gonna lie I kinda missed this movie, as soon as I reminded myself of this I just had to rewatch it. It's incredible, it scratches that certain itch that most terrible movies can't really do. Every aspect (the acting, sets / set design, confusing plot, the music, the worst script ever made and the cgi) is just top - fucking notch.

Jeez, this was a rough watch. Loved how the film started with a black screen for a moment teaching the viewers to focus on the sound of textures and the sound design, as its usage is very vital to what Glazer is trying to say throughout the film, which bubbles up in a shocking and subtle twist like ending thats really quite moving within the context of the film. There's a lot to chew on with this one with the character dynamics, script, cinamatography, message, sound mixing etc. And one that doesn't hold your hand and leaves you with what it gives. Fuckn brilliant stuff.
